I have been unable to use Skype Mobile on my new Droid X. Every time I try to open the app I get the following error message: "Skype mobile can only be used on Verizon Wireless in the US. To learn more about using Skype mobile to make free or low-cost calls from the US, visit ..."

This error message popped up the first time I tried to set up my account on the phone. I tried making sure my GPS settings were enabled so the phone should know I am inside the US. I have tried downloading and reinstalling the app from the Verizon/Skype website given in the error message. I have tried downloading and reinstalling the app from the Market Place. I called Verizon and after an hour and a half, all they could come up with was to pop out the battery and then, when that didn't work, to try a hard reset -- which also did nothing except erase all my settings. Skype mobile still doesn't work and Verizon seems to be clueless about this problem.

Is anyone else having this problem? Or, alternatively, is anyone else actually able to use Skype mobile on their Droid X? I'd really like to be able to use this app, so any help would be appreciated.
